The first step of our approach to marketing strategy and planning is a marketing audit, otherwise known as the part where we look back with you on what you’ve already done and what you’re doing. Next, we check out the marketing environment you’re in, do some research on the marketing conditions, and see what your competitors are up to. This helps us to see where the gaps are and what your perfect fit is. At this stage, we’re looking for what makes you unique, interesting and downright special. We’re figuring out who you are, what you do and how you sound. We’re also considering the best ways of channelling that sound out to the wider world.
Finally, let’s work together. Workshops are handy little things for brainstorming with your team and getting everyone excited and involved. The best strategies are the ones which meld together our knowledge of what works and what doesn’t (in a marketing sense, of course), and your enthusiasm for and in-and-out knowledge of your business.
